GLUTATHIONE (GSH) in Our Body

Glutathione...(pronounced'gloota-thigh-own')is the body's essential health
ABC's-Antioxidant,Blood Booster and Cell Detoxifier.

It is a tripeptide composed of glutamic, cysteine and glycine.Glutathione is found in every cells in the body, including the bile, the epithelial lining fluid of the lungs, and at much smaller concentrations-in the blood.

Glutathione is the smallest intracellular proteinthiol(molecule containing an S-H or Sulfhydryl group) molecule in the cells. This characteristic emphasizes its potent antioxidant action and supports a multifaceted thiol exchange system, which regulates cell activity. This small protein, produced naturally in the body, maintains these three crucial protective functions.

In fact, your life depends on glutathione.Without it,your cells would disintegrate from unrestrained oxidation, your body would have little resistance to metabolic acids, and your liver would shivel up from eventual accumulation of acidic toxins.
Glutathione is not yet a household word.Even some medical and holistic doctors who have heard the term may still have only vague idea of what it is.However, everyone will soon be taking about this critical non-nutrative substance.

There was a time when only scientists had heard of cholesterol and vitamins, but today, everyone knows about them. Now the magnificence of glutathione is becoming known.

In the last five years, over 25,000 medical articles about this substance have been published, and the scientific understanding of glutathione is gradually becoming common knowledge.

Each and every cell in the body is responsible for its own supply of glutathione and must have the necessary raw materials in order to produce it.

Glutathione is always in great demand and rapidly consumed when we experience any sort of emotional or physical stress, fatigue and even moderate exercise.

Some Well-Known Causes of Glutathione Depletion are as Follows:
1)Acidic lifestyle and diet
2)Air and Water pollution
3)Prescription and recreational drugs
4)Ultraviolet and Radiation from cellphones, computers, electrical cars,
power lines,hair dryers,etc.
5)Emotional and physical stress
6)Injury,trauma or burns
7)Heavy metals
8)Cigarette smoke
9)Household chemicals
10)Exhaust from motor vehicles
11)Acetaminophen poisoning
12)Septic shock

All these above factors lead to a build up of acidic toxins that cause the loss of glutathione as a non-nutrative buffer leading to cellular aging, disease and finally death.

Why is Glutathione Essential to Health?

Glutathione's three major roles in the body are summarized by the letters A-B-C
-Antioxidant
-Blood Booster
-Cell Detoxifier
These are the three critical processes driven by glutathione.

The Master Antioxidant

Over the past thirty years, researchers have explored the role of antioxidants in good health as well as the treatment and prevention of diseases involving oxidation or fermentation by metabolic acids.

Well known and widely used antioxidants such as vitamin A,vitamin E, and Selenium neutralize acid. They occur naturally in nature, but not in the body. They must introduced as part of a balanced diet.

Given the critical role of antioxidants in good health,it is not surprising that the body itself manufactures its own natural oxidants.

The most important of these is glutathione.Because all the other antioxidants depend upon the presence of glutathione to function properly, scientist call it 'the master antioxidant'.

Glutathione binds to toxins, forming a water-soluble complex-which is ultimately excreted in the urine or bile as waste.

FOOD For The BLOOD

Elevated glutathione levels enable the body to produce more white blood cells.White blood cells are the body's garbage collectors and are the most important cells for maintaining sterility of the body fluids.

Glutathione plays a central role in the proper function of the white blood cells.Dr. Bustavo Boubous,a leading glutathione expert, says,'The limiting factor in the proper activity of our lymphocytes(the white blood cells)is the availability of glutathione'.In other words ,healthy growth and activity of the white blood cells depends upon glutathione's availability.Put simply, glutathione is 'food' for the white blood cells.

CELLULAR DETOXIFIER

Whether we know it or not,we are continually inhaling and ingesting natural and synthetic acidic toxins. They are unavoidable in these modern times both in our polluted cities and our poorly engineered food supplies. When the body has the health and nourishment it needs,it works tirelessly to eliminate acidic toxins and to protect itself. But,increasing levels of invironmental pollution are depleting the body's store of glutathione and more rapidly.

Our main organ of detoxification of acidic waste products is the lymphatic system and the liver. This is the body's most concentrated source of glutathione.

Studies show that low glutathione levels lead to poor lymphatic and liver function, causing more and more acidic toxins to circulate through the body and resulting in damage to individual cells and organs.

Medical doctors today routinely use glutathione-promoting drugs to detoxify victims of certain types of drug overdose.

GUTATHIONE NATURAL MEDICINE

Practitioners of complementary and alternative medicine(CAM)have long advocated the use of milk thistle for liver problems. It turns out that this herb works by modestly elevating glutathione levels. The mineral selenium also produces subtle elevations in glutathione by becoming integrated into glutathione peroxidase.

GLUTATHIONE IN TRADITIONAL MEDICINE

Emergency medical doctors, toxicologists and lung and liver especialist are well acquainted with glutathione's therapeutic uses.American physicians seeking ways to raise a patient's glutathione levels can open the standard Physician's Desk Reference(PDR)and find two options-the pharmceutical drugs sold under the names of Parlodex and Mocumyst, and the natural dietary supplement found in natural foods stores derived from whey protein isolate.

DRUGS THAT RAISE GLUTATHIONE LEVELS

Pharmaceutical drugs like Procystein,OTC,OTX,Glutathione monoesters and Glutathione diester have been use to raise gluthatione levels. However, they all produce side effects and are unsuitable for long term use.

This pharmaceutical non-nutritive chemical is used to break up mucus in lung diseases such as cystic fibrosis, chronic bronchitis and asthma. It remais the standard treatment for acetaminophen overdose.

GLUTATHIONE IN HEALTH AND DISEASE

It is believed that glutathione has an important role to play in the prevention and treatment of disease. It may in the future to be considered as important to health as an alkaline diet, exercise and alkaline lifestyle.Clinical tests show that raised glutathione levels may address some of the eight major health issues of our time:

1)CARDIOVASCULAR
-Prevents Heart Disease...Shimizu H,Kiyohara Y,Kitazono T,Kubo M,Ibayashi S,Fufishima M,Lida M,Relationship Between Plasma Glutathione Levels and Cardiovascular Disease in a Defined Population:Hisyama Study.Stroke.2004 Sept;35(9):2072-7.

-Prevent stroke...Paterson PG,Juurlink BH.Nutritional Regulation of Glutathione in Stroke.Neurtox Res.1999 Dec;1(2):99-112

-Prevents Atherosclerosis...Coppola L,Grassia A,Giunta R.Glutathione Improves Hemostatic and Hemorrheological Parameters in Atherosclerotic Subject.Drugs Exp.Clin Res 1992 18:493-98
-Reverses Artherosclerosis
-Prevents reperfusion injury

2)CANCER

Cancer causing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)have been found to alter levels of glutathione compounds in experiments, which may alter the body's resistance to certain types of cancer.

Glutathione deficiencies have been linked to many forms of cancer:
-Prevents cancerous tissue
-Suppresses tumor growth
-Eliminates carcinogen
-Acids-retards oxidative stress
-Prevents wasting disease
-Eases side effects of chemotheraphy and radiotheraphy

3)PULMONARY

Glutathione is the most efficient free radical (acid) scavenger in the airways, and dozens of studies have confirmed that free radical(acid)damage is the primary player in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.Rahman 1,MacNee W.Oxidative Sress and Regulation of Glutathione in Lung Inflamation.Eur Respir J.2000 Sep;16(3):534-53.

-Cystic Fibrosis...Glutathione neutralized harmful oxidants introduced into the lungs or those released by cells.Exotoxins from bacteria can overload the endobronchial terrain and feed the fires of acidic inflamation. This staggering burden increases the oxidative sensitivity of the CF lung, resulting in further injury of lung parenchyma.Data supports evidence of a decrease in the antioxidant tri-peptide glutathione(Roum JH,Buhi R,McElvaney NG,et al.Systemic Deficiency of Glutathione in Cystic Fibrosis.J Appl Physiol 1993;75:19-24)

-Asthma
-Chronic Bronchities
-Emphysema ...Lamson,David,MD,Grignall,Matthew,ND.The use of Nebulized Glutathione in the Treatment of Emphysema:A Case Report.Altern Med Review.5(5);429-431,2000 Oct.

4)AGING
Glutathione is critically important to our brain as it is the most important brain antioxidants.Glutathione helps preserve brain tissue by preventing damage from free radicals(acids)

In addition to quenching dangerous acids, glutathione also acts to recycle vitamin E which also has the ability to reduce acidity in the brain (Perlmutter D.,Brain Recovery.com July 2004,5th ed:13)

-Autism...Medical literature documents that an out-fection can lead to lowering of glutathione which participates in detoxification, interacts with metallothioneins, and supports many crucial aspects of immunity.A link between glutathione and autism regression may derive from the fact that transient or chronic intestinal problems can impair an infant's or toddler's nutritional status, thereby minimizing the levels of amino-acids required for the production of glutathione(McCandless,J.Children With Starving Brains.2003,2nd ed;252)

-Parkinson's Disease...Glutathione helps to preserve brain tissue by preventing damage from free radicals(acids) and destructive chemicals formed by the normal process of metabolism, toxic elements in the environment, and as a normal response of the body to challenges by acidic agents or other stresses. With the understanding that glutathione is important for brain protection and that this protection many be lacking in the brains of Parkinson's clients due to glutathione deficiency,it can be seen as very beneficial.(Di Monte DA,Cahn P,Sandy MS.Glutathione in Parkinson's Disease:A Link Between Oxidative Stress and Mitochondrial Damage? An Neurol.32 Suppl;S111-115,1992)

-Alzheimer's Disease...Woltjer,R.L.,Hgheim W.,Maezawa I.,Vaisar T,Montine K.S.,Montine T.J.,Role of Glutathione in Intracellular Amyloid-Alpha Recursor Protein/Carboxy-Terminal Fragment Aggregation and Associated Cytotoxicity.J Neurochem.2005 May;93(4):1047-56.

-Osteoarthritis...Hammarqvist F,Lou JL,Cotgreave IA,Andersson K,Wernerman J.Skeletal Muscle Glutathione is Depleted in Critically 111 Patients.Crit Care Med.25(1):78-84 1997 Jan.

5)DIGESTIVE
-Inflammatory
-Hepatitis
-Malnutration
-Pancratititis
-Peptic ulcer

6)TOXICOLOGY
-Detoxifies certain drug overdoses-Acetaminophen has been shown to reduce glutathione production, thus paving the way to enhanced brain destruction by metabolic acids.(Perlmutter D.July 2004,5th ed:108)

-Detoxifies substances in cigarette smoke and auto exhaust-Rahman 1,MacNee W.

LUNG GLUTATHIONE and OXIDATIVE STRESS:

Implications in Cigarette Smoke-Induced Airway Disease.Am J Physiol.277(6Pt 1);1067-88,1999 Dec.

-Detoxifies pollutants including heavy metals and pesticides.Elevated glutathione levels have been shown to protect tissue form lipid peroxidation created by exposure to a certain metals.Consider infusions of glutathione to relieve the body burden of both neurotoxins and metal toxicity ,including mercury.(Foster,JS.Kane PC,Speight N.The Detoxx Book.2002;90)

-Prevents hearing loss from noise pollution
-Detoxifies many well-known carcinogens

7)IMMUNOLOGY
-Anti-viral for AIDS,hepatitis,herpes,etc.-Low glutathione levels in HIV clients may contribute to their immune deficiency since glutathione plays an important role in the function of lymphocytes require adequate levels of glutathione in order to function normally, and HIV includes oxidative stress that depletes the cells of glutathione.

Infection and other Diseases Associated with Muscle Wasting and
Immunological Dysfunction.FASEB J,11(13):1077-89 1997 Nov.

Lyme Dis-ease...Lyme dis-ease is a serious complex multi-system acidic inflammatory condition that is triggered by bacterial exotoxins.Glutathione helps to remove exotoxic and/or mycotoxic acids by forming a soluble compound with them, which can then be excreted through the urine or gut.(Can Glutathione Help Lyme Disease Suffers?
Excerp from:The Glutathione Report:Optimal Health with the Master Antioxidant,Issue 4,Volume 1,May 2004)

-Natural antibiotic
-Chronic fatigue syndrome...An article in the journal of Medical Hypothesis proposed that glutathione,an antioxidant essential for lymphocyte function, may be depleted in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patients.Glutathione is needed for both the immune system and for aerobic muscular contraction. The authors proposed that glutathione depletion by an activated immune system also causes the muscular fatigue and myalgia associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome(Bounous et al.1999).

8)METABOLIC
-Athletic enhancement
-Decreases recovery time from physical stress
-Supports hemoglobin in kidney failure
-Diabetes...The blood and tissue of diabetics are marked by critical low glutathione levels.Glutathione depletion may have adverse consequences in diabetic clients independent of glycemic control, and it may weaken the defense against oxidative stress.

De Mattia G,Bravi MC,Laurenti O,Cassone-Faldetta M,Armiento A,Ferri C,Falsano F.Influence of Reduced Glutathione Infusion on Glucose Metabolism in Patients with Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus.Metabolism.1998 Aug;47(8):433-8.

Glutathione provides the body with tools to fight off these threats naturally.Healthy people also benefit from elevated glutathione levels through an enhanced ability to fight off acidic toxins,dis-ease,pre-cancerous cells and the aging process itself.Diminished glutathione levels are a symptom of aging and are particularly evident in such ailments as Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease.

Glutathione is also important to physical active people. Many world-class athletes are discovering that well-maintained glutathione levels gives them the edge over their competitors, bringing greater strenght and endurance, decreased recovery time from injury, less muscle pain and fatigue, and muscle-promoting activity.

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

1)Medical science is still ascertaining all the critical roles played by glutathione in disease resistance and general good health.Clinical evidence links low glutathione levels to the most common illnesses of our time as well as newly emerging diseases.

2)As an essential aid to health, glutathione works as the master antioxidant in our body, optimizes the white blood cells and detoxifies a long list of pollutants and carcinogens or acids. The best way to raise glutathione levels is by eating foods that are high in glutathione such as avocados.

3)Pharmaceutical medicines hs created drugs that do this very effectively. They have their uses in critical situations. But they also have side effects and repeated use is clearly inadvisable.

Business

A Utah MOM - "Having always been a skeptic of Network Marketing I was hesitant to get involved. Max is a real business opportunity. I have always had the entrepreneurial spirit without the money to start my own company. With MAX I am a business owner without all the stress and down sides of owning a traditional business. It is the best opportunity, and I am glad I gave it a try it has changed my life and my thinking."

MLM Guy - "I worked 5:30am-3pm days for the past 35 years. After the company I worked for started having major lay offs I started looking around for other options. When my son came to me with MaxGXL's opportunity I decide to give it a try. After all I had played the corporate game for years and wound up with no job, no retirement no security just heart break. MAX gave me a new beginning a better beginning. I only wish I hadn'tt wasted so much time."

Skeptic - "My Wife and I have been involved with Network Marketing for over 15 years. We loved this industry and have never seen an opportunity such as this one. We knew right away MAX was different. It has a compensation plan that is looking out for the partner and a product that is scientifically beneficial. What more can you ask for. We are excited to be a part of this once in a life time opportunity."

Tammy McCreery - "As a new mother I needed to find a way to keep my current income without working my 8-5 Monday through Friday job. I found MAX and oh what a find. With MAX I am able to stay at home with my beautiful daughter while making more money than I did before. I choose my hours and am able to work around my main job being a Mom. MAX has given me and many others the ability to stay at home with our children and have financial freedom. Thank You Max."

Onea Vasquez, Prescott, Arizona - I am a wife, a mother, and a hairstylist. I was introduced to Max International, if you can believe it . . . on June, Friday the 13th, 2008. I remember it was a full moon that night. Appropriate to the way I had been feeling because on June 2nd, something very tragic had happened to my family. Just a few days after, we also received a foreclose letter in the mail, learning we were losing our home. Things just weren't going well, but the excitement in my mom's voice when she called to tell me about "The Business" she had found gave me hope. I had a good feeling . . . When I learned that Steven K Scott and Guthey-Renker were a part of this company, I knew it was going to be huge! I also found out how young the company was and the thought of being on a ground floor opportunity excited me! So both my mom and I enrolled that night . . . and Friday the 13th is now my lucky day! After one day on the product my mom's knees felt better than they had in years. For myself, the stiffness in my shoulders, the swelling in my legs, the daily headaches around 3 pm were all gone! I even had the energy to come home, clean, cook and jump on the trampoline with my kids. Standing all day doing hair, well it had been too long to remember since I felt this way! I've lost 5 inches off my waist and hips and the weight is melting off me. The products are miracles, which is why I can feel so strongly about telling people about them and this company!. But, to top it off, I've made more money in this business then in past network marketing experiences. I even got a check the first week! I've received a check every Monday since enrolling. The vision has grown, and mom and I decided to make vision boards to support our dreams. One thing we shared with each other and put on our boards was our dream vacation - we both had chosen Australia. We finished our boards two days before we flew out to the Max 2nd annual convention. Almost 3,000 people were at convention where they had a Grand Prize drawing for participants. The prize? An all paid trip to Australia, of course. And to top it off . . . they drew my name! Since mom got me involved in Max, it is only right to take her with me. The point of me telling you my story is that we all have our own story, we all have our own trials. Please don't give up - Max is changing people's lives, financially, emotionally and physically. Are you open for a chance of a lifetime?

Quality of Life

Lee Hemminger, Bar Harbor, Maine - In July of 2007 just prior to my son's wedding, I was diagnosed with lymphoma They did a lumpectomy as the tumors were under the skin around my neck and upper back area. Upon biopsy they learned that the cells had metastasized from somewhere, but after months of testing they could never locate the origination point of the cancer within my body. January through April of this year, I underwent extra heavy doses of both chemo and radiation, with no opportunity to treat it in a localized manner. I don't think I need to go into much detail on how chemo and radiation affects a person, especially in the dose levels I received. I was given a list of items from my radiologist and oncologist, like getting back any sense of smell, regenerating my taste buds, getting rid of the aches in my muscles and joints etc. that they said would take at least 2 years to make progress in because of the significant treatment levels I received. I have strong faith, as my wife and I are ministers and I faced the challenge with the strength the good Lord gave me, but I can't deny the physical and emotional toll that it all took on me. In May, I began taking a product called MaxGXL. It was sent to me by my sister, who was battling her own war against primary liver cancer. I had pretty immediate and significant results. My energy, and sleep were greatly enhanced. People began to comment about how good I looked. And as of a few weeks ago, that list I mentioned earlier, well I've checked off the big stuff. Even my doctors are amazed at my progress. I know that God was the driving force in getting this product into my hands, but I thank my sister for being the vehicle he used!

Marie Colman, Prescott, AZ - Click here to read Marie's amazing story of how MaxGXL changed the quality of her life!

Holly Lorette - I am from Prescott, Arizona. Allow me to tell you a little about myself. Ten years ago (1997 Oct 20) I came down with Chronic Fatigue and some time after Fibromyalgia. It took about 2 years for these conditions to run their course. My Chronic Fatigue was caused by being on the wrong thyroid medication. After getting on the correct medication, I improved some, but still had residual symptoms. I would get wiped out really easily and had very little energy. I started the MaxGXL in June of 2008. I now have more energy than I have had in my whole adult life! About 5 years ago I also started having allergies and now they are gone. My brain fog is so much improved to that I feel the Max has given me my old personality back. I'm happy, fun loving and joking all the time. I have good energy all day and I don't fade in the afternoon. No more coffee in the morning just to get me going and none in the afternoon to get me through the end of the day. Since my early 20's I've been a bit of a vitamin nut. I took a great multi but had to add more vitamin c, e, alpha lepoic acid, colostrum, garlic, etc as my conditions progressed. You get the picture? I would take a fist full in the morning and more at bedtime. I would get a little jealous when a friend would say that they had started something new and they had all this energy. That would never happen to me . . . until I tried the Max products! N Fuse is a bioavailably delivered vitamin and mineral supplement using oral nano-technology. With N Fuse and GXL, now I know what everyone else was raving about. The boost in energy is amazing! I am assimilating more of the vitamins and minerals then I ever have before, and my glutathione level has raised substantially - I know this because I can feel the difference.

Gary & Sally Newton - "I have Fibromyalgia, Osteo Arthritis, Diabetes and Degenerative Disc disease. Most of my issues have been passed down from my parents. From the 3rd day of starting the Maxgxl I noticed an increase in energy. After a week my pain level had dropped significantly. I was noticing my hands being more flexible and my knees hurting less. I have been able to increase my daily walk from a mile to over 3 miles in the 3 1/2 weeks since I started. I have so much more energy and my spirit and moods are GREAT! This has been wonderful for me to feel this good again. It has been 20 years since I have had the energy and joy I have now. With my pain level reduced I feel like smiling all day and have been able to reduce 2 med's for my pain and stiffness and 1 med for my Diabetes. I notice that I can think more clearly and I feel 20 years younger. I had bunion surgery on my foot just before I started the MaxGXL. This was the 2nd time I have had the surgery. My recuperation time was cut in half. I was back in shoes is 3 weeks and it was 2 months before I could wear a regular shoes the first time. Amazing! * My husband is a contractor and has used his body hard for 45 years. He has been on the MaxGXL for the same amount of time as me. He calls them his "happy" pill. He has had much less pain in his hands and knees since he started GXL. The main thing he noticed is that he used to be in bed by 8 at nite and sleep thru the nite till 7 AM. Now he is able to stay up later and wake us refreshed earlier in the day. The stamina he has received during the day has been amazing. He used to come home at noon and have to take pain med's and a nap during lunch. He now plays with the Grandkids and takes no pain meds. Some of the side affects of his Diabetes medicines have been reduced as well since he started taking MAX. He loves the good feelings and never misses a dose. We are truly living younger and stronger with the MaxGXL. We feel as we continue to take the Max we will be able to reduce our Med's even more. Thank you for giving us our joy and health back!"

Jackie Brent, Chino Valley, Arizona - Before I started on MaxGXL, I had tremendous pain in my legs. My knees and lower legs were always swollen and walking was uncomfortable enough; but getting up the stairs took a huge effort and going down the stais I clutched the railing for support, and was always fearful of falling! In just a couple weeks on GXL both the swelling and pain dininished. Now I rarely swell, and if I do, it is gone by morning. You can't imagine what the diminishment of pain has done for my quallity of life along with the increased mobility. After a month on the product I could walk up the stairs without pulling myself. After two months on the product I could walk down the stairs without event holding on to the railing. What a gift. Add to that the extra energy and focus that the product provides which helps me handle working from 3:00am to 9:00pm almost daily between my job and two side businesses and it is easy to see just how much my quality of life has increased!

Julie Malamut, Glendale, Arizona - MaxGXL has done so many wonderful things for me. My skin, hair, and nails look healthier. My energy level is wonderful--I'm not a zombie all day long. I sleep better at night. I've lost more weight because it eliminates inflammation and toxicity. I'm in a size 6 everything and on my way down to a four which is where I think I'll be done! It's exciting!! Overall, I FEEL so much better because of the toxic elimination and reduction of inflammation. It heals at the cellular level. So, things are healing that have never healed. For instance, my MRI's on my back for the last 7 years have shown a great amount of degeneration in discs in low back as well as minimal disc space due to what Dr's say was trauma as a child (carrying things too heavy for my body--boxes, perhaps?). Recently, I had an MRI on my spine and a neurosurgeon from Barrow Nuerological said that my spine looked like a woman in young 20's. It's healthy--there are no signs of degeneration and the disc space looks good. To me, this is INCREDIBLE! God has answered a great many prayers through this instrument."

David Brent, Chino Valley, Arizona> - I experienced a heart attack prior to staring on MaxGXL. I was having a hard time with my recovery and having been taking a substantial amount of medication. After being on Max for a few months, I had an overall checkup by my doctor. It was a funny day when I went in for my follow-up on the tests. My doctor kept looking at the test results and saying "wow, this is really good" then a few minutes later he would do it again, and again. He was stunned at the change in my health. Since taking the GXL, my dependance on the medication has dropped substantially. I have more energy to work my day job plus two side businesses, and never poop out! My moods are better (according to my wife) and I am more relaxed in social situations. What an impact Max has made on me!

Dave, Glendale, Arizona - I am a type one diabetic, having suffered from the disease for decades. My treatment cycle required at least 4 insulin injections a day. I began taking MaxGXL at the end of May 2008. By the end of June my insulin requirements had dropped to one shot a day and by mid to end July I was able to discontinue regular injections. Only a diabetic can understand how life changing this is. My energy level has increased dramatically. I've lost almost 50 pounds and I don't hurt like I used to. I am dedicated to MaxGXL.

Shirley King, Seligman, Arizona - My life and health were a mess. My myriad of diagnoses are fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, chemical sensitivities, hypothyroidism, arthritis, degenerative disc disease and depression. My day revolved around taking the next pain pill, 10 mg of Vicodin, 5 times a day. I needed 10-11 hours of sleep or more every day. I was desperate to reduce my dependency on narcotics and improve my quality of life and prayed for a miracle. God sent me that miracle in the form of MaxGXL and MaxN'Fuze. I felt some effect within an hour of the first dose. Within 5 weeks I had reduced my pain medication by more than half and my energy level had increased dramatically. Now, after 3 months on the products, I've been able to greatly reduce or eliminate my pain medication, inflammatory medication, sleep medication, thyroid medication and most of my other supplements. I have incredible energy and now need only 6-8 hours of sleep. My mental clarity is improving and my mood has elevated to a level that has amazed those around me. Things that stressed me before now roll off of me like water off of a duck's back. I am a walking miracle! I've lost some weight and more inches and expect great results as I start on MaxWXL. I signed up as a distributor when I started the Max products because I needed to sell them to be able to buy them for myself. My income from Max has already well exceeded the cost of my own supply and growing! It's wonderful to increase my own financial security by simply being a messenger to help improve the health and lives of others. What a blessing to be able to look forward to even greater health, happiness and prosperity! I thank God for sending Max through my dear friend Karen and for giving me a new life in such a remarkably short time!

Zack Colman, Tempe, Arizona - I am a Junior at Arizona State University in the Graphic Design program. Since I can remember, I have always had a tendency to depress easily and dwell on the negative side of things. Graphic Design is my passion and I love what I do, but earlier this year, it really threw a curve ball at me. In February of this year, I along with my fellow students, had to re-apply to the upper division portion of the College of Design. Only some of us would be accepted and it was an intimidating experience for most of us. My mom took out a large loan and bought me high-grade equipment that I would need, upon acceptance, to complete my course of study. As the semester drew to a close, I needed a certain grade point average and standing in order to even have my application considered. At this point in my studies, we don't take tests, but have to professionally and impactfully present our design work in front of heads of the departments at ASU. My presentations were scheduled for May 1st and 2nd. On April 30, I came home to pull all my work together for the presentations, only to come home to find my house had been robbed. All my equipment AND thus my WORK - GONE! I felt like my entire future had been flushed down the toilet! I didn't see any way I could overcome the hand that had been dealt to me. It seemed hopeless. But I didn't give up, and over the next 48 hours I worked my tail off. During that time, my mom pumped me with MaxGXL. She said it would help with my energy, my focus and clarity and help me deal with the stress of what I was facing. She was right. On less then 5 hours of sleep in 48 hours, I pulled it off. According to her I even had a lilt in my step and a twinkle in my eye! I received my letter of acceptance to upper division in July and am now pursuing my life's dream. I know that Max GXL played a major role in helping me face that insurmountable challenge. I've continued taking it since and notice major differences in how I view the world - I'm much more positive!

Remko Y - "I myself have noticed an increased level of energy, less tiredness and a solid sleep after 9 hours at work and 4 hours working at home; a defenate positive impact. I am taking 3 packs a day. MaxGXL works for me!"

Tom Colman, Chino Valley, Arizona - For the last few years, I have been lamenting about being in my 50's and complaining about what growing older steals from our everyday lives. Believe, me energy is underrated! I started taking MaxGXL in August of 2008 and wow, I feel years younger. My energy level is so increased I feel like I'm 30! The energy could more accurately be called an increase in endurance, because I can work all day, in my yard, doing manual labor, and in the evening still be raring to go! I've lost over 30 pounds and my focus and clarity have really increased. I can do more, and I can make better choices. It's not just because we are getting older . . . . there are answers out there to improve our quality of life, even in our later years. Thanks Max!

Margaret Lester, Chino Valley, AZ - I started to take MaxGXL at the end of May 2008. I immediately noticed an increase in energy and mental focus! I feel like I am much better balanced both physically and emotionally! It's great!

Theresa Kresge, Glendale, AZ - When I was first introduced to Max GXL back in May my thought was: I am healthy, I eat good and try to do all the right things, I don't think I need this, but I think it could be great for certain people with specified problems. My sister insisted I try the product and see if it made any difference for me......... so I tried a week supply of MaxGXL. It was my very first week off at the end of the school year and I had big plans for landscaping my yard. I began by digging all the Bermuda grass roots out of my yard where I planned to lay flagstone and crushed granite. After a week of digging, with the soil prepared I positioned and seated approximately 130 pieces of flagstone (some pretty sizable) followed by shoveling the majority of 13 ton of crushed granite myself. I was very concerned that I would be really hurting each night by the time bed time rolled around, as I had been dealing with sciatica issues the last couple of years. But...... I was pain free!!! I also noticed that in spite of my regular dip in energy at about 10:30 am and 1:30 pm each day, my energy level remained consistent through the day, all day. I was impressed...my introduction to Max GXL has proved to be an encouraging experience. Oh, very important, within a week the swelling was down in my hand, which I haven't been able to fully close for years, because of arthritis, and I had no pain and full use of it! Yes a very encouraging experience indeed!

Wanda Bacus, Chino Valley, AZ - My energy level increased dramatically within a matter of days on the product. I can't believe the difference in how different I feel!

"My name is Mickey Branum and I'm a 52 year old female living in Midlothian, Texas, which is just south of Dallas. I have had Multiple Sclerosis for 30 years. Initially doctors didn't know what was wrong with me since all the tests they ran indicated everything was normal. However, my body was still getting numb; I began to not be able to move my fingers very well and they started to curl up. After a couple of months of seeing different doctors and taking all kinds of medications, I began to not be able to hold a brush in my hand, to not be able to sit up and then one morning to wake up and fall flat on my face in my hospital room because my legs no longer worked, my neurologist decided to give me high doses of steroids in my I.V. After a few days I began to get the use of my hands and legs again, but my body remained numb all over. After the MRI machine was developed in the early 80's, I was officially diagnosed with relapsing/remitting M.S. Over the next 20+ years I would have strange symptoms with my body which would either clear up in 2 to 3 days after taking steroids or in 6 to 8 weeks without steroids. *However, in 2000 my episodes became more frequent and steroids no longer worked to give me the ability to walk without a cane. I had taken a M.S. drug, Betaseron, for several years with no results and my doctor had even noticed my body was getting weaker and weaker, especially on the left side. In October of 2000 my diagnosis was changed to progressive worsening M.S. My neurologist started me on Novantrone (a type of Chemo treatment) which I took with no results whatsoever. Several years later another neurologist started me on Cellcept which is a prescription drug taken by people with an organ transplant. Cellcept did not improve my symptoms but it seemed to level me off in that my symptoms did not get worse. I have had to walk with a cane, a walker or a scooter for the past 7 years and have taken prescription meds to help my muscles relax as well as to help me sleep at night - which only gave me 2-3 hours of sleep if I was lucky. *

In January of 2008 a friend down the street told me about MaxGXL. After she had taken it, she no longer needed back surgery. She had read information that MaxGXL was good for people with MS, was a great antioxidant and helped the immune system. My doctors had always told me to eat, drink or take anything that helped the immune system or was an antioxidant. I had already tried the berry drinks and didn't have any results with them, but I'm always willing to try anything that might help my symptoms, especially if it is a natural substance and has no side effects. *After taking MaxGXL 3 days, I was sleeping all night (7-8 hours), had energy all day long and didn't notice any muscle tightness even if I had not laid down during the day. I felt great and was walking longer with my cane instead of having to take breaks to sit down. I even helped my son and his wife paint the inside of their home and after sitting in the floor for several hours painting for two days, I was not sore at all. *After taking MaxGXL for about two months, I was walking in the parking lot of a store and began to notice my balance had returned and I no longer needed my cane. I had an appointment with my neurologist a little over a week after I was walking without my cane and I told her about MaxGXL. She had always known glutathione was very important to the body, but cautioned me that other patients had tried "things" and initially had results which did not last. I had another appointment with my neurologist after I was still walking without a cane for almost six weeks and she was very surprised and pleased with the results I was showing after taking MaxGXL. Several members of my family are now taking MaxGXL and are having great results with problems they had from arthritis, sleeping, energy, knee problems, back problems, etc."

Gertie Miles, Prescott, AZ - I would like to tell you my great results. I now am taking all three of the MAX products and love them all but in particular the one I started with and will NOT under any circumstances (in my control) ever stop taking is the GXL which is the Glutathione accelerator. My story is that I have had neuropathy in my legs and spreading to my feet for years, and fibromyalgia, both being very painful. The neuropathy has been so very painful that I was not able to get any sleep at night at all even after taking prescribed medication I found no relief. By the way the most recent meds I was put on were for restless leg syndrome, yes, this would help me sleep but did nothing for the pain or the problem. A friend of mine kept telling me about the GXL however, since it was from a network marketing company I didn't want any part of it due to some prior experiences. The pain was getting worse and since I was not getting good sleep I was tired, irritable and all the rest that goes with being sleep deprived. So, I thought, why not give it a try! Anyway, after one month of taking GXL I was completely pain FREE. I know that sounds hard to believe and had I not experienced this for myself, I wouldn't believe it. I have now been taking this product since June. I'm not only pain free but I have tons of energy, am in a good mood and enjoying life again. My sincere wish is for everyone to be open minded and not let PRIOR failures stand in his or her way from trying this incredible product.

James E. Greene, Age 63 - "As a young man I loved to participate in all sorts of sports. In 1980, I started jogging with a group of fellow employees. We ran 5 miles 3 times a week around the streets of Charleston SC. I am a big man and this pounding and the back injury I suffered in the Navy took a toll on my knees. Since the early 1990s, I have been unable to run or jog. By 2000, walking up steps hurt. I used the hand rail to help pull my self up. Carrying groceries in the house was a chore that left my knees hurting for some time. I have had physical therapy, injections and have been taking a prescription anti-inflammatory drug for several years. All this and I still had no results. I started taking MAX-GXL on May 14, 2008. While at the fly in at Salt Lake City on May 20, 2008 to learn more about MaxGXL, and as we were walking back to the hotel from an awesome dinner with the Founders. There were 3 or 4 steps we had to climb, my knees nearly killed me. About 5 days latter on Sunday May 25, 2008, I found myself carrying a computer and monitor up the steps to my house without pain. Also now I can even cross my legs while sitting for the first time in many years. I know my knees are not healed, but I know in the coming days, weeks and months ahead they will continue to improve with MaxGXL. I look forward to play ball with my grandkids."

Idaho CEO - "For many years I've had lower back pain and take prescriptions + get steroid injections to help manage pain, so I was excited to try MaxGXL. A few weeks into using MaxGXL I noticed positive changes occuring which continue to impress me; I no longer have to stretch-out before getting out of bed and have more energy & motivation. Pain On July 1, 2002, I was struck by a vehicle which caused me to receive injuries that later forced me to retire from my job as a police officer. During this accident, the muscles in my upper back were torn from my spine leaving me with injuries too severe to continue on in police work. For more than five years after the accident I lived with the daily discomfort and stiffness that this injury left me with, and frankly I had just learned to live with it. Then a friend introduced me to MAX GXL and my back has been free from the discomfort ever since that day I took my first capsules. Too good to be true you say? I'm free of that now, and with the added benefit of more energy, I feel better than I have in twenty years. I truly am living to the MAX!" -Ken Franklin

Paul Lester, Chino Valley, AZ - When I was young, I had to wear special shoes because of arch problems. I have always had problems in my feet, lower legs, ankles and knees from this. My pain was exacerbated by being a Kung Fu competitor in my young adult years. Now, in my 50's my lower legs and feet have really caused me pain. I started Max GXL in June and in about three weeks all my pain and popping was gone!

Linda Tenney, Chino Valley, AZ - Three years ago I fell off a bicycle and came straight down on my knee. My knee has caused me pain and swelling ever since. The first thing I noticed when I started MaxGXL was no more pain and swelling in my knee. I also have more energy!

Laura Colman, Glendale, Arizona - For the last couple years I have been having an increased experience with migraines. I would have 7 to 10 a month and they were totally debilitating. I was very light sensitive and would get extremely nauseous as the pain pounded in my head. I literally would have to close myself in a room and lose a day of my life! I was consuming ibuprofen at an alarming rate, which caused me additional worry about the health of my liver. I was introduced to MaxGXL and everything has changed. Migraines no longer run my life. It is rare that I ingest a pain reliever at all any more. If I feel a migraine coming on, I take an extra dose of GXL and within 20 - 30 minutes all essence of it is gone. Unless someone lives with pain, they don't understand how negatively it impacts your quality of life. Thanks Max!

Pat Straub - "I started taking MaxGXL about 4 weeks ago. The first results were increased energy and a feeling of wellness. The next result, I noticed, was the restless leg syndrome, I had suffered from for several years, was decreasing. Now it is nearly gone and only happens once in awhile. This is wonderful because the worst time was at night. Consequently, I am now sleeping much better. I am really looking forward to the other benefits that will be achieved as I continue to live my life with MaxGxL. Thank you... for introducing my husband and me to this wonderful product. MaxGXL for life," ~ Indiana , USA

Businessman John V, 61 said:" After about 5 days on MaxGXLI was able to sleep thru the night again. I used to wake up every hour and as such was very tired when I got up in the morning. MaxGXL has given me the sleep and I have also noticed an increase in my energy level. Watch out honey!"

Marie Colman, Chino Valley, AZ - After years of medications and consuming large amounts of water to dilute treatments, I did not remember what a full night sleep meant. I woke up 6-8 times a night to go to the restroom. Each time I climbed back into bed, the clock seemed to tick forever before I dozed off again. I did not remember what restorative sleep was like, or even what it meant to dream. I rarely reached REM sleep so, dreaming became something rare and odd. But the first night I took MaxGXL, I slept through the night. Couldn't remember the last time that happened. And since then, I have begun having a dream life again. Now I call my sleep, Toddler Sleep, because it is that deep, creative, restorative type sleep I haven't felt, and didn't remember having since I was a child. It is wonderful!

Margaret Lester, Chino Valley, Arizona - I used to wake up several times a night and it would take me forever it seemed to fall back asleep each time. I never got restorative rest, and never seemed to get into deep enough sleep to dream. I started taking MaxGXL at the end of May, and suddenly I noticed I was sleeping through the night and waking up fully rested.

Testimonial from Elaine B - "When I first started taking MaxGXL back in May of 2008 I really did not expect very much. I had taken different supplements for many years with not much to talk about the effects. Man, was I in for a big surprise. Within 48 hours I could tell that my energy level was going up and that I just generally felt better. But, this was not the BIG surprise for me. The BIG surprise was my sleep habits changed. For as long as I can remember I have suffered from insomnia. It would take me what seemed like forever to actually go to sleep. Then about 10 years ago I started working nights in a hospital.... This really had a negative effect on my already poor sleep ability. After starting on MaxGXL I suddenly realized that I could actually lay my head down on a pillow or whatever was convenient and be asleep in 5-10 minutes. This was unbelievable to me. So I started paying attention to how well I was sleeping. When someone works nights it puts your body and mental ability into some other atmosphere. It is hard to switch to sleeping at night when you are off so you spend most of your time staying up at night even when you are off. You live in a different world from most other people. And trying to sleep in the day time is not a restful, relaxing sleep. I have had days when I would wake up and wonder what day it was or wonder if I was suppose to go to work today. The mental thinking process goes into numb land for awhile and you just can't think straight. Not with MaxGXL... All of that confusion, that mental uncertainty has vanished. I now feel like a normal human because I can get the sleep that I need to survive. Being able to sleep as I should is truly a blessing. This to me is worth more than anything else about MaxGXL." ~ Elaine B, NC

Marie Colman, Chino Valley, Arizona - A few years ago, I fell asleep in the sun. It wasn't the first time I had subjected my skin to major sun damage. As a result, my dermatologist was keeping a regular check on my upper back and shoulders, and I had had a few pre-cancerous lesions removed. In July of this year, my upper back suddenly turned to a sandpaper like consistency and over a 10 day period more than a dozen small lesions began to gain shape on my back. I immediately called my dermatologist so that he could check it out. He was astounded, having never seen anything like this happen in such a short window of time. He removed the lesions and did a follow-up on me just a few weeks ago. My skin looks dramatically better overall, but my upper back has shown dramatic improvement. My opinion: well I have been taking MaxGXL since April 21st of 2008. Past the liver, the second major storehouse of glutathione in our bodies is our skin and this protein is very important to our skin's health. As I raised my glutathione levels, it seems that the damaged and pre-cancerous cells were forced out! I'm amazed!

Biyanka Wright, Chino Valley, Arizona - I have suffered from eczema for years. Being a beautician, the chemicals and products I use on a daily basis exacerbates the problem. I have had to resort to numerous prescriptions, both oral and topical to help with the discomfort and I have subjected myself to steroid shots when I am really bad. I started taking MaxGXL in June. Not only have I felt increased energy and have lost weight, but it has provided a great impact to my skin and significantly reduced the symptoms of my eczema.

Tom Colman, Chino Valley, Arizona - I have been taking MaxGXL since August of 2008. For the last number of years, my skin has been desperately dry and rough. No matter how much moisturizer I used and how careful I was choosing my products. Earlier this year, I had dry red patchy areas on my face and head that were of great concern. Having been bald for most of my adult life, I was afraid I was heading down the road to skin cancer. Now, even though we are going into the winter months when dry skin peaks, my skin is softer and holds more moisture than it has for decades! The spots on my head and face are gone. People tell me I look younger!

Jenn (a Yavapai Community College student) - I have been on Max GXL for about a week now, and am already noticing results! As a twenty-year old, I don't have many health complaints - but the effects I'm most impressed with so far are: 1) All of the pores on my face have drastically shrunk, and my skin tone is really improving; 2) I have more increased daily energy, and it's far less difficult for me to get out of bed in the morning. I'm surprised to have noticed these changes so soon!

J.B. Outrider, Prescott, Arizona - In 2003 I woke up one morning and couldn't walk. After going to a number of doctors, I got no better and lost my job. Since then, I have never been 100% healthy. Some days have been mostly pain free, but the majority of the time, I've been in pain. Last month a friend came by to visit because he knew I couldn't get out much. He shared that a friend of his had told him of a new health product that was showing fantastic results. I had already tried so many potions and pills that I wasn't too anxious to jump on another health bandwagon. I had been disappointed so many times before. But I eventually became curious as I watched what it was doing for my friend. He gave me some sample product and the rest is history. The first few days I noticed I was sleeping better. About the fourth or fifth day my left knee which has given me consistent problems and had been locked up for weeks just let go. The the swelling went down and never came back. Then I noticed my balance start to come back and in the second week the strength in my legs started to return. I get stronger each day, and am no longer consistently dependant on crutches. I was having some trouble with my hands as well and that is gone too! I look to the future now with a much greater degree of hope as things are improving way beyond what I had ever hoped for. Thanks to Tom & Gertie and GLX!
